Groups are one of the four pillars of Ovid: The Word of God, Prayer, Groups, and Missions. Each area is foundational to the work of the Gospel at Ovid, and the focus of our mission and vision. Our vision statement is:

Creating environments so people can move from distant to dedicated in becoming life-long followers of Christ.

In part, that is a significant role of groups: to connect people, build relationships, develop disciples, and to build Christian community. We are excited to partner in your journey by connecting you with other like-minded people eager to draw closer to God. Please join us by participating one or more of our groups.

Sunday Schools

• Good News Sunday School - Sunday 9:00 a.m. in the Family Life Center

• Walking Through the Word – Sunday 9:00 a.m. in room 205

• Foundations – Sunday 9:00 a.m. In the downstairs youth room

Weekly/Monthly Small Groups

• Estelle Life Group – 2nd & 4th Sunday at 5:00 p.m.

• Powers Life Group – 2nd & 4th Monday at 6:00 p.m.

• Lephart Life Group – 1st & 3rd Monday

• Breaux Life Group – 1st & 3rd Sunday

Focus Group

• Men’s Group – 1st, 3rd, & 4th Tuesday 6:00 p.m. and First Saturday at 8:00 a.m.

• Women’s Group – Thursday 6:00 p.m.

• Women’s Fellowship and Study Share Group – Wednesdays 6:30 p.m.

• Mary Martha Circle – Monthly and as needed

• Prayer Group – Every Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m. and 1st Sunday at 12:00

• Midlife Mom’s Group – 2nd & 4th Sunday at 5:30 p.m.

• Mary Martha Group - Monthly

• Food Pantry - 1st, 3rd Tuesday 9:00 a.m. and 2nd & 4th Tuesday 5:00 p.m.
